I´m not sure about her but Rick Astley will release new album in October. So the names do ring bells and are still around. No news about NKOTB-comeback but I guess we can live without one boy band.

Anyone can make a new album, but that doesn't mean it will sell. : : P I think Becky's point is that BJ still does very well whereas a lot of other bands from the 80's have sunk into oblivion.

NKOTB will never get back together. Donny Wahlberg wants nothing to do with it anymore, along with some other members. They wouldn't even perform one last time for a VH-1 special. I guess we can be thankful for that!

When NKOTB were huge (around 1990), my sons were big Bon Jovi fans I missed the worst of that that craze thank god.

The point here is to enjoy the success - not to bitch and moan about every little thing

two comepletely different types of music. Can't be compared.

The two clearly have a different fan base, so It's not like Disturbed fans are middle aged women who watch oprah, and when Jay Leno's on they can't watch it because they have school the next day.
I don't mean it as a joke it's true, no one band is taking anything way from the other, had disturbed's album been released the week after HAND, I think it still would't have sold a copy more or a copy less, just that they would have been number one.

I'm rambling without a point by now so I'll just shut up and say blah.

I know it's not the right thing to do, but It's kind of fun every once in a while isn't it?

Aah guys let them enjoy their moment in the sun. They have done very well for an underground band and they did have the bestselling album of the week, good for them. I doubt if BJ is worried about them taking over or anything. Danfan is right there is no accounting for taste here in the US and what is hot this week may well do nothing next. BJ did well extremely well for themselves in the US last week, considering how ficle the US market for music is. Neither band has anything to be ashamed of and if Disturbed wants to gloat let them, when you put the total sales worldwide up against each other BJ will win out hands down and we all know it. Bj is a world band not a hide in the dark dank theater because it's the only honest thing to do, trust me if they got a shot at playing Wembly and making a few million they would take it, but they don't so....
