Disturbed knocks Bon Jovi

Actually, if you look at the forum there's quite a few middle aged type people with pictures of their "cute" kids as signatures, not quite the image the band wants methinks

there is also a slew of teenage girls with nicknames such as "ihavewetdreamsaboutjon" and "jonismyhero" --- why would the band like that image any better than that of people their own age and family status???

Valid point, OK, but they didn't say anything that hasn't been true of Bon Jovi on one occasion or another. They've been on the throne for 20 years. Every single artist or band that I can think of with an equally succesful and long career is doing the same. Just look at Madonna, The Stones, anyone.

Totally agree...I wonder if they want some cheese with that wine...also, if they ever get alll the press coverage BJ has gotten, I seriously wonder if we'll see them turning it down.

I suppose Bon Jovi aren't considered Satanic enough for them.

Maybe this is true today, but BJ for sure know what band life is. And I for one appreciate that they made things work for _them_. I rather have a band where the members like each other and are balanced individuals (which should be the case for mid-40s) than a band where the members only meet on stage - even if they'd be more into it (this is not about Disturbed).
Your statement perfectly shows your anger because BJ don't do anymore what you'd like to see and is as whiny as this topic in reverse.

I don't mind Disturbed .. I've got their first 2 albums .. always good to have variety in the cd collection

I really like Disturbed..I love the way the guy sings real fast and deep...its kinda scarey lol. Anyway...Bon Jovi and Disturbed...completely different.

they make a f'ing good point. I was sick to my stomach watching jon on oprah last night (in australia) was so corny. I think what he is doing is good but it was sad to see Jon so goody goody.
