Do we have any idea when "Who Would You Die For" was written?

So yeah, it should be something they are still capable of doing
This! Shanks said how everything was recorded for that specific album. Jon is able to hit notes like that and give one hell of a vocal in the studio if he so chooses. May not be able to pull it off live but that's the magic of the studio, you have isolation and as many takes as you want, and even days off from singing if you hurt your voice....

I have to agree with all this. Although Jon sounds great, his voice sounds like his current voice to me.

It's almost comical that we have to question the timing because he actually sounds decent.

Wasn't there a hashtag somewhere to ask Jon whatever we wanted? I remember reading it here recently. I don't use Twitter so I can't do it but I'd really love to know a little more background on the BB songs

We know Teardrop, WDR and the title track are new (both written and recorded) so based on how Jon sounds on them Who Would You Die For and Fingerprints are also new and I'd bet my money on them being recently written but probably too "artistic" for the new record. Like someone here said, thematically they fit post The Circle.

If anyone asks Jon let us know

Jon got too busy due to the single according to Bongiovi Brand Sauce.

Wow, that was one sensible action. Maybe they even haven't had Jon's OK to do that to begin with

'Who Would You Die For' is the first song that absolutely blew me away since I don't even know. I remember being away with the family when the teasers came out and I sneaked off to listen to them and remember hearing Jon do the 'shout' and couldn't wait to hear it.

Then, putting the CD in on release day and waiting for this song only to be blown away with his vocals at the end.

Jon CAN pull vocals off like this. The difference being, he can do it as many times in the studio as he wants until he thinks it's right whereas he gets one chance live and he'd never be able to do it.

I absolutely love this song, though. Fantastic, in my opinion.
