Oh yeah, I understand that totally, it just strikes me as slightly odd, as it did with Bounce, that they can sell out such massive venues to massive amounts of people but not sell anywhere near as many records. I mean they've sold half as many albums of HAND as they have tickets to their concerts in the UK. Now you would have to assume atleast 75% of all people going would own or will own the current cd, not to mention people who would buy an album but not go to a concert.
As for why they can sell out stadiums over here, it's simple. They are a massively popular band, and have been for over 15 years. In that time they have attracted legions of fans and people in Europe tend to be less fickel then Americans (probably due to far less choice) and Bon Jovi rightly have an incredibley good reputation over here as probably the best live band in the world.
