No. I like the slower chilled out songs and ballads if they are well written. For example I love A Little Bit Of Soul because it's so chilled out and has good flowing lyrics that are meaningful.

No but I also like country music and adult alternative singer songwriter type of stuff. I just enjoy music- rock and otherwise if it is well written and I can relate to it.

Honestly i like most if not all of what Bon Jovi puts out, even the ballads. There are times when i just need a good ballad in which case i turn to say the crush/bounce albums and there are times when i want to rock out and go to the older stuff such as new jersey and KTF. Its all music to me, and if i like it no matter how balladey im gonna listen. Besides even Bj's ballads "rock"

That's just a story full of crap. You're now actually saying someone is stupid if he doesn't like a song from a certain genre because you think it's a good song. That sounds a lot more high school to me. "I think the song is good and if you don't you're stupid."

Ah, and you obviously still don't get the point of the topic I made in which you replied.

Salaam Aleikum,

nope u missed the point there mate. i was saying not liking a song because it doesn't rock is as stupid as people who say i don't like band X because it's rock or i don't like band y because it's not pop and i only listen to dance etc....

I'm not saying because I like it everyone should, though i do have a problem believing anyone with an open mind would not like pachel belle's canon. I'm just saying not liking something because it's of a certain genre or doesn't rock is stupid IMO.

as i've already said, not my problem if people want to miss out on good music for being narrow minded then go ahead. not doing me any harm.

for me to 'like' a song it doesnt neccesarly have to rock. Altough to really love a song it probably has to. When i make my personal top-20 (or 30) all-time probably all of them are rock-songs. imo, for comparising saturday night is a rock-song, bed of roses is also, joey, tyflm and even iml aren't

I love all of their songs, even if they're slow like "Nobody's Hero" or more metal like "If I Was Your Mother." Sure, there are songs that I don't like as much as others, or ones I don't like a LOT, but still like. I like variety, and I like that Bon Jovi incorporates a bit of variety here and there in their music, and just doesn't stick to JUST rock; sometimes they do songs with more pop or a more acoustic feel and all and I think that's awesome.
