I couldn't care less about his private life, wife and marriage. It's their life, not mine.

Even with the advances in modern medicine that's still the case. The older women who gets pregnant as to accept that she is a high risk pregnancy and the outcome might be less than ideal. I'm not saying that you shouldn't start a family in later life but even today, with all the medical advances, it's risky. Besides, the average age of primiparous women in Canada is 29. So I'm well aware that it's becoming more and more prevalent. I'm just not sure that everyone is aware that, even today, these things still occur.

I should also add that I'll probably be a women who doesn't have a family until later in life so I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it.

They were discussing in my classroom something along the lines of that
The ideal age for a woman to become a mother is between 25 and 35, something about the reproductive system being complete at that age or something ( I wasn't paying complete attention in class )
and then after 35 she starts losing characteristics in her reproductive system.

Menopause doesn't arrive suddenly, it's a slow proscess that starts since 35 or something along those lines.

Actually you're both right. Menopause occurs for all women are different times but it can occurs as early as 35. That's right, you heard me. 35. If menopause does occur before, or at, age 35 then that woman is at greater risk for osteoporosis.

The characterisitics you were referring to are probably more about the changes in a woman's anatomy due to age.

you know I think women lose eggs - not sure how, but I seem to remember that. While men produce sperm all the time, women are born with a set number of eggs and the older they get, the less they have available.... not that it really matters, as I don't think any women plans on having millions of kids.

It can come earlier than that. One of my best friends had a hysterectomy the week before her 29th birthday because she had started menopause at 26 and her hormones were completely out of wack.
