Yeah, i know what you mean - i don't like it if people are around me all the time. But it just doesn't seem like a very nice thing to say because when he is away he is away a lot, and beause he always seems to be working even when he is at home (to us fans anyway)

people need time on their own. it keeps things fresh, absence makes the heart grow fonder n all that as opposed to living in each others pockets.

I actually thought it was a pretty sincere interview.

So did I , but its what he has been saying for the past 10 yrs. I just wish for his wife and family sake he would keep his big mouth shut about his affairs, its not respectful towards his family announcing it.

He keeps saying that he's not proud of it and that they have never been the kind of band who airs their dirty laundry in public, but in almost every interview that i have read where he has been asked about that, he talks about and then says i'm not proud of it etc. if he really isn't proud of it why does he keep talking about it?

Has it occurred to anyone that since he says "the same thing" in every interview that it could be an old quote that keeps getting reprinted? Publications do that. I know of a magazine that hits the shelves this month is reprinting an article from 2000 and merely changing a few lines to reflect the current product.

If Jon spendt as much time working on his voice as he did working on his physique I dont think as many people would be complaining at the moment. But then, hes not gonna get woman chasing after him if he has a great voice and a beer belly!
