Default Drum, bass & keyboard single tracks

Just stumbled upon this on YouTube:

This guy has a ton of other single tracks from BJ as well as other bands, don't know where he got them from, but it's terrific

The bass sounds like it's not in time. I have to try and mix these in with the actual recordings to see if these are real or just someone playing along the albums.

Yeah, I thought so as well at first, especially on Have A Nice Day, but I think it's legit, though the sound quality of the bass tracks is not too great on some of them. Will be interested in your findings

I took the bass and drum tracks and added the original vocals from LOAP and this is the end result:

The ending has the return to E, which is "the norm" in karaoke and backing track -recordings, so I'm not quite sure if these are real or just karaoke backing tracks or similar. But they are in the right key and tempo to possibly be original. I'll have to try the other ones as well, when I have the time.

These are not original, some of them are even MIDI, some have actual vocal tracks, but everything else is rerecorded.

You're right about the ending, but I think the rest sounds just fine. Is it after the fadeout of the original?

But I think the drum tracks definitely sound authentic, so why would the bass tracks be fake?

Doesn't the song go back to E for the SWW 5.1 re-release? It could have been pulled from that, right?

Don't know, but would guess it probably was pulled from that one. But where did he get the tracks for Crush, Have A Nice Day and New Jersey from? Have there been 5.1 re-releases for all of them? I thought only SWW and HAND?

Haven't listened to them yet, but the Rock Band 3 game had some slightly amended endings to songs to get around fade out such as on Prayer so could be from there. Would make sense as to the splitting too

Good call. There were lots of instrumental official studio tracks from Rock Band on Youtube that got pulled a few months ago, it was probably from that too.
