Default Dry County solo. My cover

It's been years since I've been here. I'm guessing the place is still as brutal as it was before.
Have not listened to any new BJ material since Richie quit/was let go.
I just uploaded a cover of the iconic Dry County solo. Richie was the reason I picked the guitar and through years of listening and never having a good guitar/taken a lesson, I guess I'm kinda proud of myself today that I've managed to have reached a level to be able to play this solo in a decent enough manner.

Do check it out if you got the time.

I never learned the original solo, and unlike with Prayer, I don't know every note from memory, but that sounded pretty good to me! Certainly better than I could do. Maybe some of the bendings were not 100% spot on, but in general, yeah, nice work, man!

Ironically, I think the part of the solo that I remember the most is that octave chord section, which is by far the simplest of it all. But yeah, it fits the composition perfectly.

But, anyway, again: Nice work!

Thanks a lot.
Yeah, there are a few parts I don't play like it is on the record, but I usually never do. That's one of the things when you are self taught.

Phrasing is all over the place. Bit of work required. Working on your vibrato is where to start!

10/10 for effort

Rock on!
