Yeah, I'd agree with that. It's just power chords and the solos pretty basic too. Sounds cool through the talk-box though.

well the PH richie uses in the live version of IML may cause problems for beginners...i think everyday is the easiest...

if we're talking solo with pick scraping etc then it is. if we're stivking to easiest songs it's gotta be the ones built on a simple chord/power chord structure with no or very little noticeable solo.

Everyday? What even the last bit Richie plays in the solo. The main palm-muted riff can be pretty tricky to time right as well especially for a beginner I think. Also where does Richie play the pinch harmonic in IML live? Do you mean the one he plays on the OWN live CD album version during the outro chorus:

I'm a beginner who has just picked up a guitar... an acoustic one...
And I don't go to any lessons but I want to learn to play some easy BJ songs..
