The only reason I know what I do is that I lost £150 to an eBay scammer selling Jovi tickets. The main problem with tickets is that you buy them well in advance and because they aren't issued until nearer the gig, you only know you've been duped months after parting with the cash. I'd actually spent in the region of £350 on them but thankfully, I'd done it in two transactions and the larger one was funded by a credit card so I got my money back on that one. The debit card one was a write-off though as too much time had passed and the bank didn't want to know.

I hope you find a way to recoup your losses. It's natural to beat up on yourself about it but even the most diligent get caught out at times. You aren't the one in the wrong, remember.
