In other words it w was easier to front the money and then say, I've got it and then send a message to the 25 people or so who contacted yo and say your part would be $xx. You weren't going behind anyone's back.

If it makes you feel better I've been scammed before. And I've been talked into buying a vacuum cleaner when I don't have one stitch of carpet in my house. (It's supposed to be an air purifier too and I do vacuum up pet hair, but still.. pretty stupid.)

I look forward to the moment when fraud on the Internet will be seriously punished! Maybe next time, instead of deceiving someone again, this person will think very carefully. And even better if that scammer is caught and punished! Each of us or our relatives can get into such an unpleasant situation. Online shopping has become a regular part of life for my family and me. We order different products all the time and use delivery with speedpak tracking. It would be nice if the Internet would be a little safer place.
