Default Evening with BJ/Alec/Hugh

hello ,

Just been watching Evening with BJ, its one of my fav videos, surprise it still works after all this time

Anyway, I think its the best performance of Alec singing with Jon, you can really hear Alecs voice in this session.

Can huge hugh sing? Does he ? never noticed!!!!!!!!! He just seems to blend into the background maybe thats his job description!

Dawn

I've wondered about that too. I watched the video for Real Life and you can see Hugh sing, but you cannot distinctly pick his voice out. Not like you could with Alec.

hugh sings the background vocals well enough, he isnt ever distinct, but he does his 'invisible man' job well.

Maybe it is his job description, but he certainly tries to get noticed with his jazzy shirts,

on his webside in the q&a I read that he once sang a song on his own at a christmas show! now idea wich. He does sing a lot of backing vocals (thats why his awful microphone stands in front of David )

Walkin' the dog, from the '94 Christmas show. Hugh can definetely sing, just not in the same style Alec was known for. Ie. It sounds like Alecs testicles were in a vice.

He is a very nice guy.

his vocals are so low in the mix that you couldn't hear him even if he hammered it out. alec's falsetto vocals were great. dawn, that video is great. i've been watching it loads recently. brother louie is probably the best cover they've ever done, in my opinion.
