Cant wait to hear "Novacaine" and some of the other stuff.

What's the point of this post? Of course people will enjoy the live shows, even if they are only a shadow of what they were. But do you really want Bon Jovi to become a greatest hits show? Only the "good old stuff" and nothing else? Wouldn't it be better if they had great new songs as well?

Default Great lyrics!?

Great lyrics on HAND!!??

How can you say that??

That's one of the things I used to like about Bon Jovi- their lyrics. But starting from Crush, the lyrics and themes of the songs are ALWAYS the same. "Live your life", "believe", etc, etc. The message of Livin', It's my life, and have a nice day is EXACTLY the same. Even, very often the same (rhyme) words are used in the songs! And JBJ even dares to say that he got something so say with this album! Maybe he has, but he just repeats himself, he already said it a few times before!

Their 'album launch party' (album launch- 3 songs of the new album) in Amsterdam was boring. I watched it on the Internet. For me, their shows are boring nowadays; it's too predictable, they're on the automatic pilot. It was clear to see that for themselves, it also starts to be boring.

Have a good one

I think that's a pretty good description of how a lot of us feel about the band. And I liked your post, I agreed with a lot of what you said and I think HAND, the box set and TLFR are the best releases we've seen since the 90s.
This forum gets really negative at times, but personally I find that refreshing.
The people here actually seem capable of independent thought, which is the only reason I can see for posting here.

How would it be if everybody loved everything they did without discrimination? What would we discuss? We'd sound like this:

A: I love Bon jovi.
B:Wonderful, but I love them more.
A: That's super, but I think you're wrong. I'm the biggest fan.
C: You're both wrong. There's no bigger fan than me. Etc etc.

Smile

It just makes me laugh how pathetic "sebastian" is, You can spot this guy from a hundred miles, the only attention he can get is when he says something to get your back up.
This is the kinda guy that probably doesn't open his mouth to real people face to face, the perfect coward and complainer.
your better off pouring over your pammy pics mates.

H.A.N.D is a good album, it's what we want to hear from jovi, something to that perks you up, the feel good factor.
if i want something depressive i'll put on some other bands.

I'm thinking you should probably read more and post less. Maybe then you'd know a bit better.

Unfortunely you're right.
I hate to say that but it's true.
I like the new album, but there is no real surprise on it. As you said the same old theme and lyrics. Just a few i love but again it's not a real surprise, nothing really new.
And i'm sure there will be no surprise on tour.
I said i was surprised by this album because i didn't expect so much from it, but it's still the same thing, true. Better than the two latest but so predictable anyway.
And the automatic pilot thing is so true too unfortunely

But i still love the band and enjoy their music, more the old albums and i wish they could give so much on concert like "before".

That's why even if i'd like to see them on tour, if they don't come to France, i won't spend the money (i don't have) to go and see them else where. Not really worth it. Now i say that in this mood, but i'll regret if i can't see them i know this If i had the money maybe i'll go and see them somewhere else in Europe. But there is a little something which tells me it's not worth it. (complicated again me ? nooo lol)

Mmmmm ... Seb and Pammy pics ???? well, now can't wait for his answer

Dont every other band that been around 20+ write the same things? If you think about it, how many different stories is there left to sing about??
Should they for example sing about a bird thats lost, or a car that dont start? That would have been insane..

Everybody write the same stuff.. give them a brake!

Thank you!
