I think a bit of reading between the lines is required in this article:

It was written by a Swedesh paper about a Swede - hence there is gonna be a thread of bias running through it. Part of the art of reading tabloids is to see through this.

They also simply say that the guy HELPED write IML - this means he was part of 3 way contribution.

They say he wrote Everyday & produced it, but it doesn't say he did this on his own. & going on past BJ song construction & what they have said it stands to reason that he only had a joint role in this.

Concerning the fact that he wrote songs for Britney?? - So what? - He didn't have Jon & Richie joining him on that occasion.
