Smile Excellent article

http://enjoyment.independent.co.uk/m...icle622422.ece

One of the best I've ever read.
The bit about Bed of Roses confused me though. Jon said it's on his least succesfull album. Keep The Faith sold 10 million and has well outsold crish, Bounce and HAND.
He must have drunk too many cocktails that night!

Very good article, but it would have been nice if he had got the song titles correct. 'Garage Band and Radio'

Karen, I think somehow the quote about KTF being the least successful record must be not 100%. I bet he said something along the lines of, "our least successful record at the time" but who knows, lol!

And yes, very cool article. It was like a tour diary of sorts.

At first I read "luscious blonde curls" instead of "ludicrous blonde curls" and I got confused because I know I didn't write this article.

"Indeed, despite the bonhomie, the songwriting collaborations, and public declarations to the opposite, Jon Bon Jovi is Bon Jovi." I almost stopped reading it right there. Jeezly.

"filling the silence with pre-cooked statements" is the best way of describing the way Jon does interviews ever.

"And Richie, always the man with the beautiful woman on his arm" Tico's women are always hotter

"presumably for those times when only a light, fruity Italian will provide adequate mid-performance refreshment." But Jon's right there.

"But no one's ever asked me what that song is about, so I've never felt the need to tell anyone." that's 'cause we just discuss it here

Richie's on his fourth one, and seems curiously unaffected by them.

As hard as it is for you to take, anybody not a die-hard fan probably do not know that there is another 4 people in Bon Jovi.
Also from an organisational point of few, it's quite clear that Jon is the boss.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3
