Both of these shows are covering the Hard Rock concerts on their shows. Extra is advertizing a segment on Bon Jovi.

Okay--very short interview on Extra. They showed some clips of the concert (Prayer) and some celebs who were in attendance, most of whom I didn't recognize in the second-long flashes. Jon joked that they built the stage in the parking lot because the VIP list alone was too much for the club to handle. They mentioned that the CD would be out later this year, no details. They said Jon had been dividing his time between the studio and the football team. Jon said the best part of the football team was making a difference in the community but that it was like having an honest-to-God job and he laughed saying he's never had one before. Richie was barely recognizable when they showed clips from soundcheck. I think they showed a very quick clip of Richie at the celebrity golf tournament in the star-sightings segment earlier in the show, but they didn't mention him by name, so I don't know. I haven't rewatched the tape because it's still recording to catch AH.

it means IMO that the cd is planned and then the tour is logically associated ... though I heard the tour will begin in october .. let's wait and see

The Player mag article says a 50 to 75 show tour in the fall. No specific month or dates given
