Maybe if Val saw the segment on Extra she can let us know since she heard the song in Vegas.

Tom, 42, is dating Holmes, 26!! That's all I know and I am deeply disturbed ......
no kidding ..I mean i know that but are you really disturbed I am not ... 26 is not 16 ....
lol - hell yeah!!!

So, can you imagine the looks of people if I should date an 18 year old???

It's the double standards that bother me oh and the fact that men are seemingly soooo incredibly shallow that all they want is a young nice body.

What about "young nice bodies" going after the money then? Take it as an exchange. He goes for the carnal part and she goes for the financial part. Almost a contract.

As for the age gap - well, there comes an age where age gaps are not so obvious, at least mentally. Not everything is measured by how old you were when your partner was born

I don't care why they do it. What bothers me is that it is ok for a male to date a significantly younger woman, but not the other way round. Personally, I truly don't care what the age difference or the sexes involved are and I totally agree that the age difference depends on the individuals states of mind.

However, please - a 50something and a 23 year old --- let me laugh a bit --- clearly it is all about the fame and money here!

I think keeper is talking on a idelogical and general way .. it's deal there is no emotion ... and Spunky is talking in a very sociological and feminist way maybe .. it's so true and this is unfair .. it's all about being young being wrinkless and being devoted to one man who will be YOUR BOSS EVEN if you are making more money than him or is more talented than him or whatver he is your boss never the opposite .. see how ppl trashed JLo just because she is acting like a man .. then she is a b!tch .. uh oh .. why ? the women are always BAD they always have the bad roles ... so on this i'd rather stand on spunky side and this accepotation that mr cruise required a young lady better than a lady 26 older than him .. the young blood is for him not the opposite ... but I am thinking like keeper as well .. it's a contract for her as well and she will get more than she will lose ..

Actually, I just find the idea of going out with someone that much older than me to be truly disgusting. I've had guys who were in their 50's ask me out and the thought of it makes me want to puke. I can't help but wonder about them mentally to be interested in someone so much younger.
