Default Extra tracks on Bounce

I received my Japanese version of 'Bounce' yesterday, and while I have the tracks on the actual CD I don't hear any music. Anyone else have this problem? They also don't list the songs on the track listing on the back of the CD. Are they even on there? Anyone know?

The first bonus track starts after about 16 minutes of silence. And you are right they are not listed in the booklet. If you look at the white pull out section that is all in Japanese it does list the 2 bonus tracks. Hope this helps you!

I think one is called "Postcards from the Wasteland" or something like that. I can't remember the other one.

Thanks for your help. Is Universal trying to save money on the booklets so they don't have to print a bunch of different ones for all the different releases? I guess I have to listen longer to the silence to hear the songs. What's up with that?

I'm tired with the ghosts tracks. remember Nirvana, they did it. when you first put the cd in your hifi, it looks great, the cd is full, à la "Load", but, come on, there's a long white between the beginning of the track and the beginning of the song. list all the songs, put them in a good order, it will be more simple for everybody

This was addressed at the bonjovi.com Q & A:

Question:
Hello Oompas! Hope this question isn't too off the wall. I received the Japanese version of BOUNCE today from a fellow fan in Japan. I was listening to the CD in the car. I had trouble listening to the bonus tracks in the car. I brought the CD in and played it on my computer to see what the problem was. Track 13 shows a time of 20:09 which shocked me. The bigger surprise is that the song doesn't begin until 16:10. Track 14 has 15 seconds of airtime before it begins. Is this normal? Why the 16+ minute wait before track 13 begins? BTW...you Oompas are so right...BOUNCE kicks major a**. Thanks for answering my question now and the others I've asked in the past. -Cathy
asked by CATHCO on Friday, September 13

Answer:
Normal? Who knows. Intentional? Yes. The two bonus tracks are demos and it was intentionally put VERY far apart from the album so that it was very obvious that the songs were NOT part of the album in any way.

Question:
Hey guys, just got the Japanese version of Bounce and I absolutely love it!.Question, who's f$#%king brillant idea was it to put the bonus track nearly 20 minutes after the last track. Please don't tell me "industry standard" cause it ain't!.What is up with the inconvienent idea?..
asked by Curious? on Thursday, September 12

Answer:
It was Jon's. Next time you see him, why don't you try this kind of language and question on him and see if he's reaction is any more pleasant than ours. MMMMkay?
