Yeah Jon has cheated on Dorothea back in the 80's he doesnt anymore there is a quote from him saying "I wouldnt want to ruin a good relationship that has been good for so long to some cheap sex" I believe now he is faithful to her and yes most of his love songs he writes are for her!

Dunno if anyone else has read or heard this........

I once read somewhere, not too long ago, that Jon thinks of Love and Sex as two completely different things. Saying he loves his wife, but sex is just sex.

But he didn't say if he had been unfaithful to Dorothea or not.

He has been unfaithful in the past because he has admitted it but what about these days?
Jon also said recently on LK that he had "no intention" of (can't remember exact words) screwing up his marriage by sleeping around, so it's hard to know what his real thoughts are. Sometimes I think he does screw around and sometimes I think he just likes the fans to think it's still possible. Sex may be just sex to him but he should remember that he has kids who are old enough to understand what's going on if he gets caught and the shit hits the fan. I also remember reading a LONG time ago where he said that Dot didn't mind him "going on the sly" every now and then, so maybe that works for them.

Back in the 80's he did screw around - I know this for a fact. But bringing a couple of girls back to your hotel room after a concert isn't the same as having an affair with someone.
In interviews he has given lately he mentions that he would never do anyhting to embarass his family, so he is probably very careful if he plays around.
