Nope! Appetite for Destruction was released in 1987!

GNR & Nirvana were vicous RIVALS!

...and - GNR revitalised the Hairband craze!

definitely

i've just got 2 video cds - one from california 1983 and one from 1995 - i'd love to see this band live

so exciting
Too bad the band now is on prolonged hiatus. It will be a long time before the band does anything.

I managed to see them during their stint with Gary Cherone. It was good but nowhere as good as when Sammy and Dave were at their peak.

I would LOVE to say Bon Jovi for the GREATEST (hair-) BAND of all time, but alas... no one wants that - haha.

GNR for a very close second - since BJ aint nominated. Poor Jon, I bet he's rolling around on the Tour Bus moaning about not having coffee.
No, no.. Im only kidding - Tico would be the one moaning.

Default hmm..

thats a tough decision....i really like all of them...but really its hard to decide between GNR and DL...well...David Lee Roth scares the hell outta me... so i guess not VH...and Metallica is okay..but im not a big fan....soo..um i guess i would have Def Leppard..because i really love their music..and like mostly all of their stuff.......soo....DL i guess.......

*thinking*

I go with def leppard!

by the way wasn't it eddie van halen who discovered tapping (I don't know if there is a word like that in English, but you know, when you taps the strings on the guitarr!!), or?
he wasn't no,

many guitarists from 70s (blackmore etc, gilmour) had been messing around with the guitar to get different sounds out of it

but as far as i'm concerned EVH created "tapping" as we all know it
ok... It was a friend of mine who told me this, I wasn't sure about it, but now I know...

who is EVH ?

what does back to back mean?
