Hmm... I bet my greatest Jovi memory (haven't had a lot of 'em) is when I was simply listening to Bon Jovi at my computer. I was feeling great and listening to I believe. I was singing along and the part "don't look up to your movie screens, records or your magasines. Close your eyes and you will see, that you are all you really need" kinda really impacted me somehow and I started screaming the final choruses. After the song I desided I'd stop smokin' and I did. I had been smoking years and it just hit me right out of the blue. Strange

Exactly the same thing happened to me in Helsinki 2000 when I first heard BTBMB live in concert. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard Jon counting "two, three, four" and I started to cry. It was amazing and it's among my favourite Jovi memories.

I can't think of anything else special right now

When the band finally arrived on stage for the OWN concert in Melbourne. They just stood in front of the curtain for about 15 seconds and scanned the crowd, smiling. Jon had this cocky grin on his face as he slowly strutted toward the mic, then burst into One Wild Night. Woohoo!!

here are my few

1. Hearing Daves keyboard to the Livin on a prayer Intro at Stoke (2000) for the first time - this was the first action i got to seeing the band live. After being a fan for over 6 years (at that point), it was the first notes that made me shiver. I couldnt believe I was there. Just a magic moment for me. I will never forget it.

2. Hearing Its My Life on the radio for the first time. It was the first time id heard the new longly anticipated song. The "Dont bend, dont break baby dont back down" part, was amazing.

3. The drum beats at the start of Always - Live at Cardiff 2001. the band hadnt played much of Always for the two previous tours so it was very special to be there!

4. And as cowboy2002 said... Never Say Goodbye, was just THE perfect ending to THE perfect show.

Prayer is definatly one song that has made me shiver so many times!! Live in London video has made it about 50 times. And everytime I hear it somewhere where I don't expect it, it makes me shiver.

1. Hearing Always and Never Say Goodbye at Cardiff 2001, great suprise and a fantastic performance. (Especially NSG, just Jon and Richie on guitars)

2. Hearing Prayer close the same show after the anticipation of waiting two hours to hear it.

3. The first time I heard Prayer done accoustically (VH1 storytellers). WOW!

I have a couple more to add:

1. Seeing I'll Be There for You live for the first time in St. Louis in 2000. That's a song I'd always hoped and dreamed of hearing live and never thought I would. I don't get to go to a lot of shows and what were the odds of it being on a set list for me hear it? I remember the exact moment the music started and I just felt my heart swell. It was so awesome!!

2. Later that night, for the last encore, Jon came out and said the other guys were halfway out the building but he wasn't ready to leave and he started singing Never Say Goodbye--just Jon and his acoustic guitar! He got through the first verse alone but the other guys did come out to finish it. I thought my odds of seeing that song were even less than seeing I'll Be There for You!

The St. Louis show was full of magical moments.

Becky

I have a few but...I can mention:

1) the first time I saw them in Buenos Aires, Argentina - after waiting for so long!!!...in 1993. I was so excited that I cried at the very beginning and at the end...

2) when my mother got me a free ticket to attend the recording of a TV programme also in Buenos Aires but 1995. This is more than especial because we have been queuing up outside the studio premises for I can't remember how many hours and my mum was my best company during the whole night and finally, at 02:00am she comes with the ticket!!!

3) seeing them perform at home in Jersey last February and Richie saying to me "You were on the front row last night" when he signed my banner!!! I felt I could not ask for anything else in my life...

Becky, this is a great thread...thanks!!!

my guitar lies bleeding in my arms at maine road manchester 1996 - with the video screen behind of a fender guitar bleeding blood from the fretboard down to the body of the guitar
