I agree with you. The Circle is the weakest album in their collection IMO because they don't have the excuse of being young when it was done like they were when they did the first 2 albums. There are a few good songs, but the rest leaves me disappointed. The lead single is one of the worst songs in their entire catalog and I can't believe they still play it at every show or that I still hear it on the radio pretty frequently.

The Circle has a great atmosphere, the songs are not perfect, but it was a nice try. My problem with Bounce and Lost Hihgway is that both have too many boring love ballads. Crush and Have A Nice Day has much artificial pop. And What About Now is the less inspiring album of Bon Jovi.

We Weren't Born To Follow is not the best Bon Jovi single but is much better than Because We Can or What About Now.

No. Just no. WWBTF is the worst drivel they've ever put out as a single. It has no redeeming qualities.

And in my case - since 2000, The Circle wins for me big time. No they were not young (and innocent) when they made it but I love a good many of the songs on it - really love them - not just think that they are OK. Bullet, Broken Promiseland, Thorn in my Side, Happy Now, Love's the Only Rule - that's 5 songs that in my opinion are in the top of what Bon Jovi has written.

Even back when it came out it was obvious that there was a big split between those that loved it and those that didn't. It was obvious that those of us "older" people loved it. The younger people didn't.

Least favorite - TLFR without a doubt. No socially redeeming qualities whatsoever if you ask me.

Oh. TLFR. Right. Forgot about that one. Probably because I don't even own it.

And The Circle is pretty good as an album I feel. It's got hardly any standout tracks, but together with HAND, it is the most coherent of the "phase 3" albums.

Bounce is a sentimental favorite of mine (the first album by the band I got), but I think I prefer The Circle over it. These two and HAND are easily my favorites of the post 2000-material.

Don't worry, you have your opinion and I mine.

The single was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 2010.

What Do You Got, Because We Can, She do not Know Me, All About Loving You and What About Now are the worst singles ever, in my opinion of course.

She Don't Know Me? If you look at the music scene during that time, it wasn't a bad choice. I actually love those first two albums. For me, everything up to and including Blaze define Bon Jovi. The 90s were great too, but not as "all around" solid as the 80s were.

What Do You Got might be the biggest disappointment ever for a single. I hate the guitar intro, Jon's voice, the flow, and the production. No emotion....

What Do You Got aint a bad song per se, it's actually fairly listenable- just no use as a single to promote anything, especially the Greatest Hits.

Dare I say they should have freshened up a classic song to do that but to be honest, the Greatest Hits sells on it's own.

I agree that WWBTF is pretty damn poor- much more so than Because We Can too. I've grown to like BWC more, but WWBTF gets worse with every listen- monotonous and dull and even worse live- I'd prefer BWC to replace it in the setlists as it least has a bit more oomph to it.

Oi, I like The Circle too ... or do I count as one of the older people now? Scary thought!

Crush is easily the best 21st century album for me. What About Now, while not a bad album, is definitely my least favourite, with Lost Highway running second worst. I would probably rank the other three as Have A Nice Day > The Circle > Bounce, but that changes depending on my mood. Every time I listen to Bounce I like it better than I remember, it's just a shame that its so schizophrenic.

I'd be inclined to say my favourite tour was 2008 and least favourite was 2013, but I missed the Crush and One Wild Night tours so it's not really a fair rating

I don't wanna be pelted with rocks for saying this, but I actually quite enjoy What About Now, it kinda grew on me.

Favorite tour would have to be Bounce, it was my first time seeing Jovi live and it was a bright point on my rather sad 2003. It was also the last tour where they performed some pretty intense versions of Keep The Faith! I miss the jungle noises and screams..
