Default Favorite Songs, Albums, reasons

I'm just posting this topic to hear some comments about Bon Jovi songs and albums, why or why not you like them...
Here's my opinion

My favorite album would have to be These Days
and my favorite song is also from this album, My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms
I think this album came out really well, probably because during the time of this album's writing the band wasn't exactly feeling well...So their songs were based on their emotions, which gave them more meaning, thus made them better songs.
My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms is a great song, firstly because of how it builds up, from quiet to powerful...and just the overall melody and lyrics really give the song depth...

That's really all my thoughts for now, What do you all think? Post your thoughts and opinions.

My alltime favourite album is Keep the Faith! Itīs absolutely perfect from "I believe" to "Save a Prayer". Bon Jovi show a huge diversity on this album. There are really deep songs like "Dry County" and also fun-tunes like "Woman in Love". They have rock-anthems (Keep the Faith) and rock-ballads (Bed of Roses) on the record. And thereīs a lot of feeling in every single song.
To bring it down to one, my favourite song would be These Days, closely followed by Wanted, Blame it on the Love & Dry County.
Wanted is one the highlights for me in concert (with Richie singing WanTED )
Blame it on the love of RnR: great fun-tune, cool lyrics
Dry County: perfect lyrics, great guitar solos

My favorite album is most definently Keep the Faith I love all of the great guitar work and hard rockin songs.. For example; Keep the Faith, In These Arms, If I Was Your Mother, Dry County, I Believe, and of course In These Arms...

My favorite song from the album is of course my favorite song of all time..
In These Arms proves to be one of the best and most beautiful songs on the album... The lovely lyrics and hard rock instrumentation gets to me everytime...

Keep The Faith is closely followed by Crush, Bounce, and New Jersey

BOUNCE,
Ryan

My fav album has got to be New Jersey. The reason behind that is simply because that album helped get me through a really tough time while serving during the Gulf War. Whenever I felt things were getting too much to handle I simply turned on my walkman and just blasted the whole album until I felt much better.

My fav song, well many of you will prob know from previous posts that its Bad Medicine and In These Arms.

Favourite Album - New Jersey
Favourite Song - Wanted
Reasons - Both Slippery and New Jersey remind me of my youth - surfing, hanging out with mates, chasing girls etc.... just some really cool times. I play these albums if I want to jet back to the eighties!! Life seemed so much simpler then.

WoW, so hard to choose from Slippery When Wet, Keep The Faith, or These Days. I found Bon Jovi with Slippery and my favorite song, Wanted Dead Or Alive, is on that album. I might have to side with These Days (at a very close margin). I think I have to side with TD because people down the album so much. It is just brillant. It's the album that just grows on everyone. Songs like These Days are amazing, with the harmonica at the end really making the song. I could go on and on but I'll leave it at that. Great album and great song.

I can't choose between "New Jersey" and "Slippery"......These albums just take me back in time and make me feel like a teen-ager again.......My favorite song.....hmmm, "Never Say Good-bye", but I love all of them, so it's extremely hard to just pick one!!!!

My favourate album is also Keep The Faith. I think it has something for every mood that I go through. I'm really gutted that I got the remastered version without Save A Prayer. I really like that song, and I think they ruined the album a little with including the Live Keep The Faith video. I love the ballad I want You, because it explains my feelings for a girl at the moment, and I wish I was capable of writing something similar. Dry County, I believe and A Little Bit Of Soul are classics, and great to chill out to. Keep The Faith, In These Arms and Bed Of Roses are also great, and I love the heaviness of Woman In Love, Fear and Blame It On The Love Of R 'N' R. I think Jon would struggle these days in trying to match the blend of shout, and tenderness in his voice for those 3 tracks. I would say that Bon Jovi hit their peak with Keep The Faith and These Days, and the period in between. A great Era.

I have many favourate songs, and can't narrow it down to more than about 4. Below are the songs and the reasons.

Bad Medicine - I have never experienced being addicted to love because I have never properly been in love, but I can imagine what it is like, and this is a great song, both musically, and for it's meaning.

I Want You - I really like a girl at the moment, and can't really find a good way to ask her out, or even find out if she likes me. I would love to be able to perform a song like this for her, but it wouldn't be the same if I hadn't wrote it. It's a great ballad and has become one of my favourates of late.

If That's What It Takes - Similar to I want you, it expresses my feelings for a girl I work with at the moment. I wouldn't sing it to her, but I really would do pretty much anything for her.

It's My Life - This will always be one of my favourates because it's the song that first attracted me to Bon Jovi. Whenever I hear it, it brings back memories of me first getting Crush and then slowly building my Bon Jovi collection.

Those are my favourate songs at the moment, but they are always changing, and I'll grow into another song, and go off another. This is a good topic, glad I saw it.
