I could never narrow it down into one. There are so many good songs throughout the band's back catalogue. Some of which I can either take or leave as my mood changes, some which are constant favourites, and some which I never really liked at all. To name a few:

Dry County - It's always been one of my favourites since I heard it. It's epic and I feel it brings together some of the best individual performances from each band member.

These Days - This is right up there with Dry County for me. I really enjoy songs that have a meaning rather than just some catchy bullshit made purely to sell records.

Bed of Roses - People go on and on about Always and how it's one of the best ballads every, but I actually prefer Bed of Roses. It's a really powerful song and has some great melodies. I like Richie's solo as well.

Wanted Dead or Alive - The original cowboy song is perhaps my favourate from Slippery When Wet. You could be forgiven for thinking the lyrics are cheesy, in the fact they compare a modern day rock band member to an old fashioned cowboy, but I think it's well put together. The opening riff written by Richie is fantastic and just catches you straight away. The two guitars blend well together and Richie's solo is brilliant. I wish he would play guitar like this on some of the new records. The song still sounds great live as well and I just think it's stood the test of time really well.

Blood on Blood - There's so many songs from New Jersey that are good but for me this is my faourite from that record. It's a good story about a band of friends that became so close they were like brothers. Whether it's fact or fiction I could never really make up my mind, but the band make a really good job of making the whole thing sound real, which is something they struggle to do these days.

It's My Life - I think this was a really good comeback single. While not quite being a rock song it's still quite powerful and encorporates a good use of the talkbox with a simple keyboard riff that combined with a good melody makes the song very catchy. The lyrics at the time were a whole new thing for Bon Jovi. The only problem with it is that the band have been trying to emulate it's success ever since, to the point where there are many IML clones. Everyday, Have a Nice Day, Lost Highway, WWBTF, etc. It also looks like This is Love, This is Life is also an IML clone. Sad, but true.

Livin' on a Prayer... best song of all time.

It would be followed by In These Arms, Have a Nice Day, I Believe, Whole lot of Leavin' and Bed of Roses.

I would have to go for These Days and Dry County - first time I heard them live was spine tingling!

Would be cool to have a poll!
Dry County live gave me the chills.
Never had the luck of listening to my favourite WISTW live though, sniff sniff.

These Days is one of my all time favorites and Keep The Faith got me through a lot of tough times in life. However, ultimately it depends on the mood i'm in and i'll listen to almost any song

I couldn't choose one, either. I have many on-off faves, but these always stay.

Runaway. The song that made me a fan. And strangely enough, I've only been a fan for 4 or 5 years. A great rock song.
Livin' on a Prayer, for obvious reasons. Amazing song, even better live.
Wanted Dead or Alive, just mindblowing. Really showcases Jon's vocal abilities and Richie's guitar skills.
Keep the Faith. Amazing guitar, deep lyrics, great live.
In These Arms. Simply wonderful.
These Days. Just because.
Any Other Day, perhaps the best post-2000 thing they've done.

And I have 2 weird ones...
Misunderstood. I've heard so much crap about this song, cheesy lyrics, made-for-radio chorus. But I still love it.
Next 100 Years. I love it as a whole, and not only the solo.

If I HAD to choose one, I would probably give Wanted Dead or Alive the slight edge.

Altough there have been an endless amount of these kind of threads, itīs always fun to list your favorite songs and maybe analyze them a bit, every once and a awhile. Just to see where we are at a particular moment.

I canīt pick just one. In no particular order:

You Give Love A Bad Name:
Back in early 87, this was the 1st BJ song I paid attention to. I remember when I heard it for the first time one tuesday evening on Sky TV. By the time I had heard just the opening chorus, it was obvious that the music of Bon Jovi would play a very big part in my life.

These Days:
It may well be the most beautiful song ever written. Anybody being able to write a song like that is beyond my comprehension.

We Werenīt Born To Follow:
I know I am the black sheep on this board to love this one so much but after listening to the music of Bon Jovi for 23 years, I think this one is very special. BTBMB may be heard in the chorus but thatīs not an issue for me. This is Bon Jovi optimism at its best.

Brokenpromiseland:
One of their greatest melody lines. I love the melancholic athmosphere in here.

This Is Love This Is Life:
Perfect. After hearing just the snippet I knew we had the old school Bon Jovi back. Right now if I was forced to pick just one song it would be this. This may yet be the honeymoon phase but I really like this one.

This Ainīt A Love Song:
Their best ballad. Jonīs voice sounds very beautiful on this one.
