I'm guessing that the OP meant favorite songs that weren't on the official tracklists (bonus tracks excluded), as he listed 2 boxset songs as his favorites.

I feel the verses totally kill that song. I find it poor storytelling, revealing obvious things that didn't need to be said, like the "your hospital bed" part. I always thought that It would be much better if it was more open to anybody's interpretation.

Don't get me wrong, by no means I think it's a bad song, it's just that IMO it could be so much better.

Interesting. I absolutely love the storytelling in this song. Like, I find it among their best. I love the twist that his wife is in the hospital and it's not just another song about love lost.

My favourites are Starting All Over Again, You Can Sleep While I Dream, Open All Night, The One That Got Away and Walk Like A Man.

All great songs.

I always assumed since "Kidnap..." was co written by Billy Falcon that it was about his wife who passed away from cancer. Going to the hospital to see her etc.

I also thought after hearing Billy's version of "When we Were Beautiful" that it too was about him and his wife. "The me and you is still alive" meaning their daughter. Nobody seems to agree with me though! lol

Well the twist to me was broken with the obvious chorus. Maybe that's what bothers me.

Incredible lyrics.... incredible. Probably top 5 BJ lyrics ever. I like We Can Dance slightly more musically/melodically, but both could have been written the same night... they came from the same place. Both are great besides.

Mine are:

Starting All Over Again, Lonely at the Top, Last Chance Train, When She Comes, I Don't Wanna Live Forever, Neurotica, Why Aren't You Dead, & Nothing.

Oh and am I the only one who really likes Crazy Love & I Just Want To Be Your Man?
