Heavily depends on my mood, but I think most of the time I love My guitar lies bleeding and Lie To Me most, because the lyrics are so poetic and the guitar work on these songs is just perfect to me.

Anyway, this album is FULL of killer tracks.... could name none I really don't like.

I dunno, I just really don't like Lie To Me.... such a boring song in my opinon. Diamond Ring is different, as it is just... well, different...

Diamond Ring is the worst BJ song ever. What the heck where thinking when they wrote that garbage?

Fave song on TD...Hearts Breaking Even is probably my fave at the moment. Most of the songs on the album are pretty awesome. Expect for Diamond Ring.

I like Diamond Ring, it's beautiful. Probably my least favourite These Days song but I love all the songs on that album, bonus tracks included.

Agreed, I love Diamond ring! Actually I love all the songs on TD. It's the one BJ album where I don't routinely skip over at least one of the tracks.

As I"ve been reading through this thread I keep changing my mind to agree with everyone... It's such a good album.

I'm going to have to stick up for Diamond Ring... I love how it isn't a straightforward love song. For me it hints at the push and pull of being a relationship and caring so much about someone else, what it means for yourself. And I think it does that without being all emo and over-the-top. Just a modest song, with a little twist of heart break... and that ending, it sounds frail and strong at once, somehow it reminds me of a spider's web...

I loved hearing it at Twickenham, when Jon and Richie stood and talked about playing guitars in the yard, and said something about breaking all the 'bigness' down and going back to that simplicity. To me it kind of felt a bit magical, like the rest of the world somehow melted away and there was was the stadium full of people who were as happy to be there as me. Perhaps that's the magic of vodka, perhaps the magic of a summer's day and the band you love. Probably something in between.

Gosh I'm fanciful today.

Even having said all that I'm not sure Diamond Ring is my favourite song... So many to choose from on that CD.

Diamond Ring is definitely not the worst song ever.

Not even the worst Bon Jovi song really.

Apparently, I have heard it live in 96, but can't remember a thing about it. Would like to hear it again. It's a nice little tune that's grown on me a lot over the years.
