Maybe the rest of your post was a joke. It's hard to tell on message boards. But in case it wasn't, speaking from the band's side of things, why would they want to stop doing something that causes at least part of their fanbase to buy multiple copies of everything?! I won't even try to figure out why the band would want to offer a free concert ticket with a $10 CD . . .
Multiple copies? Are you kidding? And no, I didn't say FREE. I meant like a %%% off of these HIGH price tickets.
No one can afford to see a live show anymore. It's pathetic.
Oh...and Health care reform in our country....I don't even want to get started on that one.

Strange - there were thousands of people at the shows I saw last year. Besides which, the standard Bon Jovi tickets here last year were about £40 I think (the gold circle ones were more though, obviously) and for the size and length of shows they put on, I personally don't think that's bad at all.

Strange - I paid £52 for a standard ticket last year

But it's ok, cos for the second night of Twickenham I only paid a tenner

I'd only got gold circle tickets myself so I wasn't entirely sure, I just thought I'd seen somewhere that they were around £40 - I was obviously wrong.

I paid 45 pounds for first night at twicken seated tkts on 2nd show I had GC
and paid 95 pounds, but it was about $100 and $200 after adding currency exchange rate and fees, much cheaper than tickets for MSG which were around
$300 on wards though few were around $112

I can never get fed up with the bonus songs. What I am fed up with is the bonus songs being better than majority of the standard album songs.

In 1991 there was only one show with this setlist:

1. Fever
2. Born To Be My Baby
3. You Give Love A Bad Name
4. Wild In The Streets
5. Love For Sale
6. Bed Of Roses (first time played and before it was released)
7. Diamond Ring (played way before it was released)
8. It's My Life
9. We Gotta Get Out Of This Place
10. Blaze Of Glory (first time played by the band)
11. Wanted Dead Or Alive
12. Livin' On A Prayer
13. I'd Die For You
14. Blood On Blood
15. I'll Be There For You
16. Bad Medicine
~ Gloria
~ Shout

Encore:
17. Levon
18. With A Little Help From My Friends
19. The Sole Truth (Never actually released despite Jon's comments)
20. Silent Night
Ok, I'll take your word for it, you sure do know your stuff and your memory is sure alot better than mine! lol. I remember most of the setlist, as I said before BOR and Diamond Ring being played for the first times and I remember Levon and Silent Night, but I have no recollection of The Sole Truth. Like I said before I was pregnant, and on top of it I was sick running a fever, and felt pretty lousy so that could explain it lol

I can. It's called going for the cheaper tickets. That's not knock, or an insult or anything like that.
