By 1990 Bruce had pretty much quit touring - his band had been my passion forever by then and I guess I needed a new band that actually toured and played live. It was a coincidence that they were another local band.

I should add that this same son who is now almost 30, has come to at least 1 show per tour with us ever since then. He's still a fan.
