When I was like 6 Alan Jackson was my absolute favorite - lol - as for this song it's a solid tune. I don't notice an overwhelming amount of similarities between it & Who Says however. I mean, hell you can find similarities between tons of rock/pop tunes if you want to. I highly doubt Jon stole this one...

It's similar, but not the same. It's your basic country chords, G,C and D. About a million songs use the same progression as Who Says. The melody's different and obviously the lyrics.

If anyone ripped anyone, it's Bon Jovi ripping Buffet. Jackson and Buffet released that song in 2003, Who Says came out in 2005.

If any ripping off was done it Jim Moose Brown and Don Rollins were ripped off. They wrote the song. Y'all are annoying me crediting the song to Jimmy Buffet. It's an Alan Jackson song and Jimmy Buffet was a guest. It's be like someone crediting Who Says to Jennifer Nettles.
