i kind of balked at the idea of them being called the philly souls too. dunno, not saying it a team name has to be an animal but..soul? hmmm

The team is called the SOUL, singular, not SOULS. It's goes with the AFL vague names like Crush, Rush, Storm, Voo-Doo.
