Yeah, totally. My friends and everyone is like "Bon Jovi who? How OLD are they?" I get a lot of grief for that sometimes, but hey, it's worth it.

I've never heard negative reactions when I say that I like Bon Jovi. The only thing I hear them say is :"Oh, you like Bon Jovi! Really?"

And that's it. Anyways, I don't have friends who are fans, but they always support me :P

My friends will always make fun of fact I like Bon Jovi, but there's no hard feelings. They have learned to accept it. Others tell me I'm too young to like Bon Jovi, but again, it doesn't bother me.

Well I am in still studing but I have not the idea I am the only one my age that is a fan....

Some of my friends are also fans.
I think it depends on where you go to school and your age....

Well, there are no BJ fans in my surrounding and it's hard to stay alone. But on this board I found people who are like me and understand what I'm talking about.

Everytime I say that I'm a BJ fan they say "oh" or "what? He's gay" or something like this. But I'm getting angry about that anymore. Those people don't even know what music is! They are listening to hip hop, rap and techno, which doesn't even have any lyrics. It's too sad for the next generation. What are they listening to? Can they ever feel the music in their heart?

I feel silly everytime when I scream for over 40 year old people, but who cares?

Personally I only know one other person who's a Bon Jovi fan. Most of my friends are either into strictly rap or are metal heads who think Bon Jovi is too soft. A lot of people haven't any true Bon Jovi classics and think all their songs are pop hitsl ike It's My Life and thus many people, specifically metal heads, don't wanna give Bon Jovi a chance.

But it's never bothered me before and it still don't since I have one of the most varied musical tastes you'll ever see and I'm used to people being surprised by my musical tastes.

Well, Poland is a ****** kind of country where a BJ fan doesn't have an easy life. There are no BJ fans in my school, none in my town, the only BJ fans I know are those people met on the Internet, but to be honest half of them are girls at my age and younger, who seeing Jon's photos are becoming absolutely hysterical, and it seems they're fans only because of Jon's looks. Sometimes when I read their comments I feel ashamed and glad no one of you reads it - I can imagine what most of you would say.

Sadly, 7/8 of Poles associates BJ with 'that gay 42-year old who sings IML'. They don't know any BJ song older than IML (well, some of them know Always but that's rare) and when I say I like them they go like "come on, don't say you like him, he could be your dad" and when I say I don't like HIM, but I like THEM they laugh and go away singing IML.
No wonder BJ don't come to Poland.
