This dovetails to U2 being ranked so high in tour statistics and earnings when they, in fact, performed less concerts than Bon Jovi. Jon may try harder but Bono wins.

Well just look at their recent tours. On the 360° Tour, U2 played 110 shows, while on The Circle Tour, Bon Jovi played 144. However, all of U2's 110 shows were in stadiums, so they played in front of 50,000+ sized crowds every night, sometimes up to 100,000. Over half of the shows on The Circle Tour were in arenas, where the max size would be about 20,000-25,000. So of course U2 would make more revenue. And both tours were in a way on their own, because neither The Circle or No Line on the Horizon were extremely massive albums.
