I really can understand where you're coming from, you grew up with pop music so the more poppy side of Bon Jovi will appeal to you. However, I do think that once you're a little bit older you'll start to "see through" the songs and will find out that you'd rather have a song with a little more depth. No offense if you don't, but it'd only be normal.
