Got to agree with lovemetodeath, and add that this is a politics thing, much more Jons area than Richies, Richie only goes to this stuff when he feels it's about something or someone he wants to support, Jon has done a bunch of this stuff solo, or has taken Bobby, Jeff and Lorenza to back him up when Richie couldn't or didn't want to go. If they weren't getting along this is not an appearance they would have to make together in order to make it "look" like everything was ok.

But if they're aware of the rumors of tension from after Hull, they might be making an extra effort to appear friends.

And I don't necessarily believe that, but it's a bit naive to assume that just because they're appearing together they can't possibly be fighting.

No, Hull wasn't professional. But that's a rare occurrence, and Jon is enough of a businessman to understand the concept of damage control.
