yes, i think a "touch of Desmond Child" from time to time is something nice, but as Letitrock said more like in the early days ...
For me the band can do something almost perfect without any help ... they are so talented for great lyrics and more again for the music (only my advice )

They should really just try to make it work together, just the band 5 really good musicians. Make a record like thay want it, and forget the sales. Because they always follow good albums.

You read my mind!!!!!!! I read somewhere that Richie was a Santana fan and I know that Santana colaborates with a lot of artists these days, so it could work. But Richie would have to help write the song- not just go in and play it.

By the way, I like Pink. I like that she actually writes the songs she sings. I really think that she and Jon could make a nice duet. (To those who care, Richie wrote and played the guitar solo on her song Misery. She sang it with Steven Tyler.)

Pink has said in quite a few interviews that she doesn't write. She gets her name on the songs if she changes a word or comes up with a line... Don't kid yourself, she's no composer or writer...

It's a good song and Tyler rocks. But once again, it was no collaboration between the two, they just sang a duet, it's not like they wrote the song.

I didn't know that. Thanks for informing me. Guess I don't read enough Pink interviews. Heck, I haven't read any!

Didn't Steven Tyler work with Richie on his Undiscovered Soul album?
