Seems like there's an overwhelming response from female Dry County fans here--including me. The fact that it's been resurrected for the European tour has had me considering getting tickets and making the looooong drive to Chicago on the slight chance they might play it there. I wouldn't classify it as a guy song just because it's written from a male perspective. Like any great song it can appeal to any listener despite gender, race, religion, etc, provided the listener gives it a chance! I like it for the powerful lyrics and emotion it evokes...my boyfriend likes it for the guitars.
