Performed at Hammersmith in 1990....

Only found out this song is a cover after hearing another artist singing it on a film soundtrack. Anyone know who did the original???

Carole King and her husband Gerry Goffin wrote it, and Dusty Springfield had a big hit with it in 1966.
The Byrds also made a cover of it for their album The Notorious Byrd Brothers.

Cheers Rina, when I tried looking it up on google it just told me that Queen sung it, but I know they didnt write it.

I think the Byrds have the most famous version? This is one of those songs that's been covered by many.
There is a real SB version on the single of Miracle btw .
