Kind of strange concsidering ot bombed in the charts.

I totally agree with you on this. Why did they get snubbed in the past for clearly better albums and now get nominated for Misunderstood which is an awful song in my opinion. I'm glad to see them get recognized but I think the grammy awards lost their credibility long ago when Jethro Tull was named best rock band.
Misunderstood didnt do well in the charts here. But its there most recognised song since iml. Pretty much everyone i know likes the song and if i am speaking about music to someone younger and mention bon jovi they always say oh thats the band that sang misunderstood.

After seeing the list of nominee's... I don't think Bon Jovi will win, even though I want them too. You have No Doubt, Matchbox 20 (Who is on fire right now) and Fountains Of Wayne who put out the song that can never stop being played. Chances are very slim but I guess we can pull for them.

Yeah...I second that. As much as I would love to see Bon Jovi win, I think it will probably go to MB20. Congrats on the nomination though guys!!! I do wish them all the best!

I'm so cynical of the Grammys that I think if they DO win, it will be because Universal bought it for them. However, that's not an accusation because I have nothing real to base that on. On the other hand, if they won, it could be that the Grammy committe knows that they'll look somewhat like idiots to have never given an award to an act that's sold 100,000,000 CDs. I believe Madonna had already hit that mark when she got her first Grammy.

Glad to see the guys get another nomination. I agree that they should have been nominated sooner, but I'm happy that they are finally getting recognized.

Exactly. It's different. Songs like Unwell bore me. I've heard dozens of them already, and I'm sure I will hear a dozen more. Stacy's mom has got it going on is refreshing. It's fun. I'm entertained. That's why I want it to be rewarded.

I don't know. I think my four year old cousin could have written something better, but to each their own.
