I'm sorry people..but just because you downloaded or have a bootleg CD of unreleased tunes does not mean the Box Set should not have these songs. YOU should not have these songs. A Box Set releasing songs you may have heard via unauthorized release is officially releasing the song for the first time.

Also...I'm not all that keen on them trying so hard to make sure songs are chosen that NO one has ever heard, not even in bootleg form, if they are songs we didn't need to hear.

The way to look at is if the Box Set contains songs like Cadillac Man, Love Hurts, Lonely At the Top....they have done their job. Unless the songs have been released previously such as on CD singles...they have never been released. You got it on bootleg and heard it already? That's your problem. The Box Set will release these types of songs without any degradation in quality....if there is live video such as stuff from the New Jersey tour that you have on bootleg....same thing...you have no right to be complaining as you shouldn't have that already.

Additionally..if you think this box set is going to be entirely rare or unreleased songs.....you don't know box sets. They are career retrospectives. You better start setting your expectations within reality cuz we don't need to hear the baseless whining start when reality hits the shelves.
Roger that.
Affirmative!

I think thats the best point anyone has made so far. I hope your wrong of course and i'd love to see tracks that not even the biggest fans have heard of, so lets just hope Obie really has done his research.

To me, it sounds like a fan trying to sound like band members. I've read countless interviews and it just doesn't sound like any of the band members in the way they speak.

Read that last paragraph that is supposedly a quote of Jon: "all I can say" (or some derivation there of) is repeated multiple times. In the interviews I've seen with Jon he simply wouldn't go on to say "All I can say, all I can say, all I can say" in the span of 30 seconds.

The grammer throughout this whole article is horrible:

"It's not secret Bon Jovi were dissastisfied with the treatment we received." Huh? Now he talks about the band in the 3rd person?

"We were so mad at them that I decided not to include on the This Left Feels Right album a couple of new tracks." No one talks like this.

It's like someone went through and took bits of truth and made an article because they have entirely too much free time on their hands.

While granted American's are really bad at their own language at times, to me this sounds like a non-native English speaker. "It's not secret"-- we'd say it's no secret.
You are right, this article is a fake!

It's probably Supersonic and Thierry behind it again!

Bad Medicine with a talkbox is Thierry's midnight fantasy.
I remember the first hoax well enough. That's enough proof of a fake for me.

Alot of people asked about this article to the Oompas on bonjovi.com and they repeated several times that this article is totally fake!!!!The band never did that interview. Whoever did that, he or she needs to get a life. Bogus information.

Not everything in it is bogus information. It looks more like as someone put quotes from different interviews from different times together. It is for example correct that Richie is working on a blues solo-album, it's also correct that Jon said once that he could imagine Pat leonard to produce the next album.
