I'm with Deb, I liked tonight's performance, with the orchestra, better than the acoustic. I was surprised Jon sounded nervous singing, as he seemed relaxed when the band was interviewed on the red carpet.

Jon's vocals reminded me of when they performed HAND for the first time on the American Music awards, just a bit tense and nervous but the last long note he did fine with. It just seemed he and Richie were just not quite nsync with the harmonies at times.

I have to admit I was disappointed with that performance. It is SUCH a great song but it was missing something tonite. Jon did seem a bit nervous, almost like he was holding back at times on certain notes. And the outro was boring with a capitol B. My brother who is a huge fan started snoring at the end of it and i had to bust out laughing. I agree with Wolfgang the Youtube clip of Jon singing it at the ballroom was a million times better. More passionate and just came across better live.

I thought it was very classy of Jon to give a shout out to Richie's dad at the end. I'm pretty sure he has stage 4 cancer so he can't be doing too good.

And I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet but how RIDICULOUS did David Bryan look tonight? With the hair, the suit, and the top hat he reminded me of Willy Wonka.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

That was flat boring. The audience almost went to sleep. I kept sitting there thinking 'I hope this picks up', but it never does. Jon hit the one big note and that was the highlight of the song. You couldn't even hear Richie's outro which made it really awkward b/c everyone was looking around thinking why isn't the song done.

They should def. not perform this song on American Idol. Wrong place, wrong time for MAM. Substitute Lost Highway or something else.

Yeah, Dave did look stupid. He needs to give Big Kenny his hat back.
