Cool Let It ROCK, not Let It Country

It's interesting how things changes through the months. After releasing LH there were so many ethusiastic fans and a handful of critics. It seems like people are waking up now and Born_To_Run isn't the only one who dislikes country with all those fiddles (and being blamed for it!!) I can't say LH is a bad album but I really hate the fact that they started something with country. I like them because of the ROCK music. Unfortunately many people are just adoring every one of their steps, maybe without listening to the music. My opinion is that LH could be great album with producer such as Bob Rock, the material isn't crap. I'd change violin to another guitar (good exaple is Lost Highway and Who Says, Who Says was countryfied with adding violin (among others) so what about taking away violin in Lost Highway - for me the songs are very similar, the violin is here in excess)

Seb's story sounds perfect to me but I don't believe it will happen. I hope Born_To_Run will attend concert as soon as possible.

Happy New Year,
Johny

I hope so too. But that won't happen in 2008!

I think Lost Highway would be better if it had more Harmonica than fiddles? All my favorite country songs are full of harmonicas!

I dunno. The whole thing has been promoted here (Ireland) as the Lost Highway tour. Its on the radio constantly with the title track playing in the backround.

One thing is suspicious though - they still havent sent the tickets. Usually ticketmaster will send them within a few days but its been about five or six weeks and no physical ticket in my hand........ Now if I did have a ticket in my hand which said "Lost Highway Tour" I could dismiss this thread as the product of an insane mind. I don't however, which sets my spidey senses a thingling.

Tickets for general admission shows go out in the 7-10 days before the show and even as close as 48 hours, in some cases. It says that when you book.

I'm betting on a break after the LH tour. Jon's said a million times they got off the road on the HAND tour and almost straight back into writing in N'ville. Now they've changed their plans to world tour LH, everything before that change of plans could be/is down the bog.
