hanging around with the band doesn't technically make you a groupie. hanging around with them because you want to **** them does.

I've been readin gbits of Midge Ure's autiobiography recently and he was talking about when he started getting groupies and said somethign along the lines of...

"i was 20 y know, anyone that says they would say no is lying and anyways, they were using us more than we were using them just cause we were in a band and somewhat famous it boosted their ego's more than it did ours"
