Someone called me ? :P

BJ fanbase built on housewives ?????? have you ever been to a concert ?????

Ok, now i'm at home half time and i work the other ..... when i was your age i was a already a Bon Jovi fan in the rock industry in Paris ....
not my fault if i'm not 18 anymore ... strangely year after year i'm getting older Like a lot of persons Should i stop listening to BJ then ? no, i don't think so. You'll see later if one day you hear something like that ! you will have a good laugh.
And i must add i miss the old BJ music, energy and albums, even if in my opinion they're still excellent ! but you don't remember do you ?

Next time you'll tell us Elvis' fans are only grannies and grandpa's .... but you know they were younger some day.

I also believe that if you think crush is Jovi's best album your music taste is shockin'. Didnt u also say its your fav album of all time? If so lol!!!

Look @ the depth of previous BJ Albums - track 10

Crush: I got the girl
TD: Something to Believe In
KTF: I want you
NJ: Ill be there for you
SWW: Wild in the streets

Should of been neurotica.. i got the girl is ****
That's all your opinion though. If you don't like something it doesn't mean that no-one else should like it or it's bad. There is no such thing as a bad album or a bad song, just differences of opinion.

I quite like Neurotica, but also like I Got The Girl too, and so what. I'm not ashamed of liking something, and I am not going to deny that just because some narrow minded twats think that everyone should have the same opinion as them. A lot of people here like These Days more than any other album, and sure I like some of the songs from it but as a whole the album doesn't seem so great to me...but that's just my opinion, and I'm not trying to force it on others like you are.

You weren't even a thought back when BJ released their first album. Is it my fault that I happen to have been a fan from the start and still am? Oh, I see, once I turn 21 I am supposed to crawl into a hole and not listen to music anymore. Of course their fan base contains a great deal older people, as many of these "housewives" have been with the band since 1984. What do you expect? I find your statement totally idiotic, and I won't often say that about anyone, but you are showing your immaturity by stating that like it is a bad thing. Face it, BJ didn't start in the 90's and if people have remained faithful to them for 25 years, you are in no place to complain or look down upon it.

Yes, because only Americans belong to Backstage. You are so well informed.

Oh boy, so you come to like other bands as well and you find that tragic? That is life - it is what growing up is all about - you don't get hung up on one band and worship it and never ever listen to other bands. What a sad life that would be. Go on, enjoy U2 and the Foos, but don't complain about compromising your idols.

wtf is that supposed to mean? So, housewives should not be into music because why? they got married and don't work? What kind of retarded crap is this? The other day I was talking to a tax attorney colleague of mine and we were talking about him seeing Anthrax recently. We were joking around because I find the thought of us in the moshpit 15 years ago and now sitting through the show with the short hair drinking chardonnay (well not exactly like that) hilarious. Do you find that better? A tax attorney vs. housewife? People move on, people get jobs and have careers, some have kids and stay home, who gives a shit?

So called housewives have no fault in the fact that BJ appeared 20 years ago. And remember that most of them had your age then. I don't see something wrong if they still like the band and their music, and are proud of it. Do you think that as soon as a woman got married she has to forget all the things she had used to like? Like if it was a kinda "childish stuff"??? I feel sorry for your future wife then.
And what do you mean by "growing out of Bon Jovi"?? I always thought that you can grow up of a pop-band u liked when u were 10 years old...
I like BJ since I was 9 (yes, that's true :P ) I'm proud to be a fan and I can't imagine myself feeling "a grown-up-of-BJ"

What a degrading post! Are you for serious?

First of all, I want to say that you find what you look for. I personally have always believed that MB20 was the ultimate housewives band since everyone who likes them here is either a teenage girl or a housewife. But, as I said, you find what your look for.

Second of all, any artist who's been around for a long time (over 20 years in BJ case) and made many records has some poor efforts in thier work. However, it's not the reason to start saying degrading things about them. If you like the artist enough you hang on until the next record to see what else this artist can offer, if you don't -- you move on. Just to remind you ... Bon Jovi is the band who wrote SWW,NJ, KTF, TD. They are the band who created 15 hits, most of which were excellent songs. They are the band who wrote LOAP and WDOA. These 2 songs are timeless. (With all my respect to the Foos and MB20 -- they've never written songs like these yet.) Maybe they are in a creative hole right now, but there is no reason to assume that they will not get back on track. Their history is too good.

If you believe that U2 and REM don't have poor records in their catalogues than you haven't listened to them enough yet, or maybe don't have all of their records. Matchbox 20 and Foo Fighters have not been around long enough to compare them with BJ but let's see what these bands will have done 15 years from now if they exist this long.

First off, the whole comment about the maj of fans being housewives, just plain sexist. Buddy, don't generalize, just because that may be what you know doesn't mean itis universal. I can speak for myself and the BJ fans I know.... all single, in their early to mid twenties and are educated students or professionals. The majority of them have been fans since gradeschool with SWW. Secondily, you don't like BJ anymore why bother visiting a fan site then? Alright, I can seehow some people were disappointed with Crush and Bounce, but if you're losing faith then just, "Keep the Faith" Thirdly, this whole debate about women liking BJ because of Jon's looks is growing tired. The man is good looking, it's a bonus. Perhaps these women may find him attractive but why bother buying CD for that purpose. then they can gawk at a magazine or pictures of him.
