Well then, if you want to grow out of them you just do it and don't come to a Bon Jovi message borad to announce it and say things that don't make sense, do you? Or is it some kind of rite of passage that I don't know?

Lots of grown up artists have done a song about their children and mostly it just became gooey attempts whilst IGTG is a funny and twisty song and I would be proud of it if I'd written such a cool song about my daughter. I understand if someone does not like it because one can't relate to it but why is it immediately just shit?

Your answered your own question. People cannot relate to this song. It's too different.

I like this song. It's warm and filled with love for his daughter. I'm happy that he didn't choose the obvious road and wrote a cliched ballad as so many other artists did before him.

Ava's eye is a standard father/daughter song (neat but cliched). I got the girl is interesting and different.

I've always been a fan of I got the girl, I think it's great And I enjoy hearing it live immensely, it's such a cool song In every way! I think it's very underrated, and I've never understood why it's so disliked, either.

It's a ballad-type. So, it's cliched.
