Hair bands are having a mini-comeback now, but grunge will have its own afterwards. It's just cycles and I don't think it really means anything... There'll always be die-hards for both genres, but they'll also each pass in and out of the ebb and tide of the mainstream... Some songs will be remembered and some will get left behind.
