Hall of Fame impact on Jon and Richie

I've heard/read the story about Alec too. Don't trust my memory, but I think it was on an old magazine.

Not BS. Also not something your going to find online because my friend met Alec, had dinner with him, and spent hours in his hotel room talking to him. Her friend was like the one “Alec Fan.” Anyway, Alec spoke very freely about a lot of stuff and one of the things he talked about was Jon handling his finances because he would blow it if left to his own devices. He talked about what a keen investor Jon is. Their conversations usually went like this:

Jon: Hello
Alec: I love you, Jon.
Jon: How much? (money do you need)

She heard it first hand and I was the first person she called to tell all about it.

PS: Alec made the girls pay for dinner and he ordered calamari. Bleh.

I also remember reading this Alec’s story at the end of an interview in a magazine of 90’s, if that was me I definitely would take a commission lol

Back on topic 😉 as heartwarming as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and performance was I think the whole weekend proved why there is no hope of any permanent reunion. Richie's behaviour was 'erratic' to say the least. By no means drunk or high but clearly that of the cliched Rock Star. Jon is the polar opposite. Last week would only have underlined to him that Richie is a liability these days and not someone he could count on, sadly.

I saw where Richie said he'd hung out at Jon's house for a few days -- things can't be that bad between him if he was allowed in, LOL!

A question that just popped up in my mind: when exactly did the rehearsals take place and when did Jon start moving around more and sounding better? Maybe there's some coincidence there (i.e. "making up" with Richie and him losing some of the psychological blockade he's been having)? Just a thought...

The first rehearsal with Richie was in LA before the tour started.

Are you sure? Has someone stated that somewhere? I thought it was to be in Denver?

Positive..not published (although I think Richie may have mentioned it in an interview). Long time friends on the tour. No rehearsal in Denver.
