The inductor (Howard Stern) will give a speech about Bon Jovi and how awesome/important they are.

Then the band will come on and inductee member (Jon, Richie, David, Tico, Alec and Hugh) will have 2-minute speech each. Then they will play 3 songs; of which probably 2 will be shown on TV.

Which songs will be played by which people is up in the air. Jon only said that they "invited" Richie and Alec to play "with the current guys". Richie said he's interested. But nothing has been confirmed.

Thanks for the replies. It’s intriguing how much interaction Jon & Richie will have prior to the live songs. Will they rehearse? Richie obviously knows the songs, but will Jon want to chance it just clicks into place live in front of an audience?

On the Stern show, Jon said they have a rehearsal date on the books in Denver if I didn’t misunderstand.

No talking. Email and text. Jon said Richie and Hugh had spoken, but Richie had not spoken to Tico or Dave or him.

Fantastic Interview...Richie is a Dick... And Howard and Robin are right, Richie should have given Jon a week or two to prepare...

Howard's humour does nothing for me. His stuff doesn't really translate, UK humour is very different the US, not that that matters. Letterman's speech was heartfelt and genuine which is why it went down to well. I don't think you're going to get that with Stern. I hope I'm wrong.

Love the Billy Joel comment, but he never got to the story as to why he was talking to Billy about Richie, as they got sidetracked!

Still so angry RD! We all know Richie should have given the band time to prepare if he was going to leave the band, and if he knew he was going I'm sure he would have. Something happened to make him just not show up one day after 30 years. We'll probably never know what. We've only heard a small part of that story...

A lot of the same stories from Jon we've heard many times. It's obvious he and Stern are good friends, so I can see why he chose him on that level.

Love the fact that he basically said screw the record company, play it! I'm sure they had an exclusive play organised somewhere. Either that or it was all just a planned skit...

Howard is ok, the guy is respected by a lot of musicians and artists. Do you remember Howard Stern's birthday party a few years ago? a lot of bands and artists showed up.
