I tried listening to the interview, but I kept falling asleep because I am home for a snow day comfortably tucked under an electric blanket. 😴 I will catch it later On Demand and post anything noteworthy in the interview. I remember he said he still didn’t know how many songs they would get to play.

i never really liked howard stern BUT i think its a great choise..
jon wisely asked someone who sincerely liked the band and had relations not only with him but with richie tico david as well..
ideally it should be a musician, someone from the music business respected etc etc but the criterias of jon seem steady and thought...
ps. springsteen bono or someone like that wouldnt be the ideal choise because they didnt really like the band...they may respect them now for some of their accomplishments but still an old friend is the way to go...
and i think jon will try to celebrate this moment with almost anyone who thinks that helped him along the way, mcghee will be invited for sure imo as well

For me,Little Steven would have been my choice.
I dont know who is Howarn Stern more than what I read in this board.
In Europe he is not a known person.
But if Jon thinks he is the right guy to do it,who am I to tell the opposite?
