Cool story in here. Jon contacted the HOF to get them to induct Hugh. He wanted it to be a surprise Christmas present, but the HOF website let the cat out of the bag.

That really struck a chord with me.

Hugh definitely deserves it and I’m glad Jon went to bat for him, especially considering his own shared animosity with certain voters. I’m glad the voters were reasonable. I remember Eddie Trunk talking about how no one had ever been added to the determined induction lineup prior to this year.

Maybe Hugh can be an answer in Trivial Pursuit one day. Haha

Yes, Hugh deserves it. Jon should have done it official in 1995, and not a couple of years ago because he need look well accompanied in the photo promo.
